SOMETHING slash

England and Italy have always stood for great and innovative furniture design. The connection of both countries inspiries the design studio SOMETHING. A design studio with locations in London (UK) and Verona (Italy) established by Daniel Debiasi and Federico Sandri.

As casual as the name are the pieces from SOMETHING: Daniel Debiasi and Federico Sandri create everyday objects like wardrobes, side tables, shelves or clothes hangers. All these pieces are very aesthetic, simple and sometimes multifunctional. A connection of minimalism and functionalism shows the side table SLASH, a part from the PRIMITIVES COLLECTION. Four simple graphic elements, like a circle and a rectangle forms the avant-garde side table. Simple and multifunctional is the wardrobe CLUB: it combines a mirror and a simple wardrobe and a few related functions in to a curious piece of furniture. Daniel Debiasi and Federico Sandri work for a lot of clients like Schönbuch, AntonioLupi or Bonomi.

In addition to the products i really like their way of presentation: Debiasi and Sandri show a lot of sketches of the products to make the design process accessible to the viewer. You find more amazing accessoires, furniture and beautiful sketches on their webpage.

  1. I love the minimalistic look and clever thought behind every design! That mirror/coat stand is such a great idea!
